Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck and Boston duo 7L & Esoteric combine as CZARFACE again, to bring you their very anticipated album entitled “Every Hero Needs a Villain”.
To our delight, like their first album, this one is covered with pop culture references and samples. Comic books, television shows, movies, professional wrestling and rap legends are heavily interweaved in their rhymes.
Stellar artists such as Large Professor, JuJu of the Beatnuts, MF DOOM, R.A. the Rugged Man, Method Man and GZA all feature on this body of Hip Hop art.
DJ 7L, the composer for this symphony provides boombap heavenly beats, but the beats are not basic boombap beats from the 90s, but innovative boombap beats where he has masterfully reworked the formula.
