ITCH Top 100 Hip Hop Albums of 2016
It’s that time of year, and for the first time, the Itch FM DJs present to you their top 100 hip hop albums of 2016.
We asked our DJs to lace us with their Top 10 albums of the year, and we ended up with a huge selection from across the spectrum of this thing we call Hip Hop, with some Beats, Soul & Grime pieces thrown in too.
The science bit: Each No.1 album got 10 points, and so on, to a No.10 album getting 1 point. For each additional mention by a DJ, an album got a bonus of 5 points.
This resulted in a lot of inevitable ties down the line, but we ain’t got time to argue no mo’ frankly. We all know what opinions are like, right?
2016 has been a wack year, for a ton of reasons, but there’s no disputing there’s been some amazing music released. Here’s 100 dope albums you should check out. No mumble-rap up in here!
