A Tribe Called Quest’s legendary member Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge forms a new group entitled “The Midnight Hour”.
“The Midnight Hour “will be a jazz slash hip hop fusion project, which 1st came to life way back in 2013. The 1st track off the album will be the re-edited Cee-Lo Green track.
The album will also be graced by none other than Raphael Saadiq, Questlove, Marsha Ambrosius, and the iconic Luther Vandross, among others.
The duo stated in a recent interview “It is a joy to create The Midnight Hour with our friends who were willing to take the musical journey with us to make something special that is a departure from the status quo”. The album is due to be released June 8.
