Stir Woolwich is a new restaurant, which opened in South London to promote the concept of Good Mood Food.

This is wholesome food, which is said ‘to affect and help in the well-being of people.

It’s also said that you are what you eat, therefore wholesome, healthy and freshly prepared food should indeed put you in a good mood.

Both vegans and meat lovers are catered for, with a choice of delicious meals, for all tastes.

Stir is unique in its concept in providing a community service, which includes the hiring of local people.

And providing jobs for all types of individuals including those who may be deemed as unemployable, as a result of ‘stir’ – slang for doing time.

The BMT x Stir event being held during men’s health week was a perfect fit, but even more impactful doing it over food reinforced the social nature of the business and the restaurant’s primary purpose.

Performances on the night were provided by Face.Soul as well as the Threedom Writers.
