Birmingham crew MM aka Merky Movements team up with Ivory Woods for new track “Things I Need”
This track has been doing the rounds for a while now, but as its getting a big radio push, its only right to put a few words down here. Coming out of Birmingham MM aka Merky Movements crew continue to show that the midlands and beyond have had the London grime scene on their toes for the past few years. A slightly reformed crew Merky Movements instantly got my attention with that great name.
“Things I need” Is the perfect balance between a hard street based grime banger with a soulful, R&B touch courtesy of Ivery Woods. I played this on the Saturday morning show on Itch Fm last Saturday and we had the thumbs up all round in the studio, which is very rare lol. This has the potential to do big things radio wise and MM are a crew to be keeping a close eye on, another crew added to my already growing list of ones to watch in 2016.
