Who is Dr Dre’s New Protege Justin Mohrle?
The 23 year old rapper from Dallas, Texas is Dr Dre’s newest signing to the Aftermath imprint. The rapper has been summons to Dre’s studio where his been putting in 12 hour shifts.
Dre apparently heard the kids demo, which obviously he was very impressed by, and decided to lock him down to Aftermath Records, and get him straight to work.
Justin Mohrle is not naive in understanding the life changing situation his life could turn in the months to follow.
He stated;
With the situation I’m in, Dre could decide to drop a track tomorrow, and then I might not be able to ever go to the mall again like this. Just us. By myself.
Justin’s parents wasn’t exactly pleased with his career decision, as he gained a partial college scholarship to play baseball, which he had been playing since he was 4 years old.
He had a hard decision to make as he loved baseball and music, but as we can see, music won the battle of the emotions, and now we have the Wordsmith called Justin Mohrle.
