Over Two Weeks Gone, This Is Where We're At

So, we’ve reached just over the two week stage and it’s been nuts trying to come up with different ways to get the message across without being too annoying.

We’ve tweeted folk individually and pestered the hell out of close friends until they don’t return calls anymore (only kidding, but its starting to get that way!).

But, [pester] on, we must. This is far from over.

We would also like to say a big shout out and a big thank you to Nick at BlatantlyBlunt.com, Mister Lego at BNTL.co.uk,  and all the other websites, retweeters, Facebook sharers, Youtubers and Google plus-oners who have helped us promote this campaign.

We are eternally grateful.

You’ve Raised How Much?

This is where we’re at:

The amount of funds generated has doubled since the first week from £270 to £550.

Doubling the first week isn’t bad, but I think it’ll be wise to say that I don’t think we’d be reaching our desired goal of £5,000, unless something mad happens, like a long lost aunt who hasn’t seen me in years decides to [all of a sudden] feel guilty and bank transfers £4,450 for missing out on many years of birthday and Christmas prezzies.

I don’t think that is going to happen. It’s all about getting that wallet (or purse) out, visiting the campaign page and contributing.

However, there is still 8 days left to contribute before the campaign ends. So, don’t miss your chance to play your part of UK hip hop history.

Why Would I Want To Do This?

You’ll be helping to bring back something that has helped the UK hip hop scene become more solid. Something that will benefit the hip hop community and provide a platform for underground artist to get heard. It will also be a place for you to discover new hip hop from the UK and the rest of the world. You know how we do.. Dedicated To Hip Hop, baby!

All that good stuff and more. Just think about what good it would cause being here.
