Sean Price Suddenly Died In His Sleep

We’re sorry to write that the talented lyricist Sean Price died in his sleep on the morning of the 8th August 2015. It is not known what the cause of death is at present.

Sean Price who was only 43 years old has left behind a wife and three kids. A representative for Price stated “Sean’s family and friends are asking for time to grieve and process the news”.

The rapper first rose to prominence as a rapper called Ruck, as a member of Heltah Skeltah alongside fellow Brownsville, Brooklyn rapper Rock.

The pair were members of  the Boot Camp Clik, which also featured Black Moon’s Buckshot, Smif-N-Wessun’s Tek and Steele and the trio O.G.C.

Sean was always on heavy rotation on Itch FM, and will be sadly missed, but as long as we’re here his music will keep on being played.

Condolences goes out to the whole of Sean price’s family and Duck Down Records crew from all of the Itch Crew.
